Your and My Thailand is taking place this weekend, Thursday 15th – Sunday 18th September in the Checkers Court at Sandton City and is a fully interactive event showcasing beautiful Thailand.
Certainly one of the worlds top holiday destinations, Thailand is affordable and offers a plethora of travel opportunites for not only young holiday makers, but also those with families and older couples as well.
Adventure travelers; special interest activities such as golf; spa & wellness travelers; luxury travelers, and of course first time travelers should certainly pop in and see what The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has on offer.
TAT supplies information and data on tourist areas to the public, with the intention of encouraging both Thai and international tourists to travel in and around Thailand.
Also integral to the promotion of Thailand in South Africa is the Kingdom’s Royal Thai Embassy which is located in Pretoria, along with a very active and dedicated department of Trade & Industry.
The showcase will encompass cultural dance performances, Mau Thai boxing and inter-active demonstrations, choreographed by well-known SA/Thai celebrity herself, Jennifer Su.
Top South African travel partners will be on site to educate and assist travelers with travel decisions and providing information, and there will be many prizes including a trip to Thailand up for grabs.
I will be MC’ing the event on Thursday and Friday afternoon and the whole day on Saturday, and Jen Su will be on MC duty on Sunday during the day.
