The Gin & Tonic Festival returns to Cape Town 26th February 2017 at exciting new venue, The Old Biscuit Mill.
Taste, swirl and celebrate the most exciting, fastest growing spirit category in the world! The Gin & Tonic Festival returns to Cape Town showcasing over 15 local and international gin distilleries at a venue born to be the spiritual home of the G&T in the Mother City; The Old Biscuit Mill in Woodstock.
We’re elated to announce an exciting new partnership between the award winning Neighbourgoods Market and the Gin & Tonic Festival team, brought to fruition through a collaboration to host the 4th installment of South Africa’s pioneering, original Gin & Tonic Festival.
With the wealth of knowledge and festival experience this collaboration brings, the 2nd dedicated Cape Town Gin & Tonic Festival is being hosted at the Old Biscuit Mill on Sunday the 26th of February 2017.
Some of the country’s most exciting, and certainly spirited, gin producers will be available to sample and explain what makes their tipple so simply irresistible. You can look forward to festival regulars such as Bloedlemoen, Ginifer, Hope on Hopkins, Inverroche, New Harbour, Wilderer and a host of exciting new players in the local market. Internationally revered brands like The Botanist, Sipsmith and Elephant Gin will also showcase their craft, making it the benchmark Gin & Tonic Festival in South Africa. The full complement of Gin and Tonic brands participating will be revealed in early February.
Gin lovers can look forward to having their taste buds tantalised by artisanal food offerings from the Old Biscuit Mill regulars as well as a selection of exciting new food vendors. A selection of the city’s finest food trucks and gourmet street food chefs will serve up gastronomic goodness to festivalgoers. In addition, a summer-inspired designer’s market will feature the brightest in locally made fashion, lifestyle and accessory goods. If that’s not enough to get your toes tingling, a selection of local artists will soothe and entertain the crowds at our dedicated music stages, setting the mood for a truly memorable experience. Expect an exciting bill of live and electronic music.
Upon arrival, each customer will receive an extensive 16 page gin booklet featuring all participating distillers and products on the day, along with a host of promotional vouchers and goodies from our festival partners, and a branded Gin and Tonic Festival glass. A ticket gives you access to the best the local and international gin the market has to offer, all under one, well-organised roof. Tickets are limited, so make sure to gather your friends for what’s set to be the best Gin & Tonic Festival the Mother City, and the country, has seen.
