Sandton Convention Centre proudly notched up two big wins at the prestigious combined 2018 Exhibition Association of Southern Africa’s EXSA-llence Awards and the Association of African Exhibition Organisers’ (AAXO) Roar Awards, held on 31 January 2019, as voted for by the supplier and venue members of EXSA. Sandton Convention Centre was named the Best Venue for the fourth time in five years, and Daksha Vallabh, Exhibition Sales Manager, won the Best Venue Individual Award for the second consecutive year – both in the Best of the Best category.
The glittering Gatsby-themed gala dinner, held in the Ballroom at Montecasino, was opened by Doug Rix, Chairman of EXSA, and attended by 300 of the industry’s movers and shakers, there to celebrate excellence and big achievements within the industry in 2018.
