City Lodge Hotel Group is pleased to announce a number of new appointments and promotions at the start of 2020:
David Jacobsz has been appointed group revenue manager with effect from 6 January 2020. David started his hospitality career in Scotland, working in a hotel immediately after leaving school. He subsequently advanced up the ranks, and in different roles at different hotels, until he found his โhomeโ in pricing/revenue management. He will be instrumental in the introduction and establishment of the discipline of revenue management at CLHG and reports directly to Zuki Jantjies, divisional director: sales and marketing.
Dhanisha Nathoo has been appointed chief financial officer and member of the board and risk committee, with effect from 9 March 2020. Dhanisha is a Chartered Accountant (SA) with substantial experience in financial, commercial and infrastructure roles across various industries including investment banking, real estate management, mining, and audit and consulting. She joined the group as divisional director: financial in 2009, and was promoted to chief financial officer in 2018. In both of these roles she had a positive impact across all aspects of the business, most notably the groupโs endeavours around BEE, environmental sustainability and more recently IT. She most recently fulfilled the role of director, chief operating officer for global operations โ trade validation, asset protection, clearing and change at Credit Suisse, London.
Lischen Gurovich has been promoted to group talent manager. Lischen started with the group in September 2010, and has worked her way up to the position of assistant general manager before moving across to the human resources division at central office.
Sheree Snyman has been promoted to group learning and development manager. Sheree joined the group in December 2000. Like Lischen, she worked her way up to assistant general manager before joining the human resources division at central office.
