Southern Sun Timeshare, a network that includes 44,000 timeshare weeks across six timeshare properties, has now added the stunning Bantry Bay International Vacation Resort to its portfolio. This new agreement came into effect at the start of the year.
Bantry Bay Resort overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and one of Cape Town’s best beaches. It has two magnificent penthouses and 33 studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, and caters for 1,785 timeshare owners.
The Bantry Bay Resort owners will now be able to benefit from automatic membership to SunSwop, a premier holiday exchange service for Southern Sun Resort members. This will allow them to exchange their timeshares back into Tsogo Sun’s resorts, which includes access to 4,300 resorts around the world through an affiliation agreement with RCI.
In addition, they are also automatic members of SunSwop Choices, which offers access to an even wider range of destinations and accommodation options through Tsogo Sun Hotels properties around South Africa, Africa, the Seychelles, and Middle East.
Southern Sun’s six timeshare properties are: Beacon Island Resort in Plettenberg Bay; Cabana Beach and uMhlanga Sands Resorts in uMhlanga, with direct access onto the uMhlanga main beach; Drakensberg Sun Resort in the picturesque Cathkin Park area; Sabi River Sun, a 200-acre golf resort just outside the Kruger National Park in Mpumalanga; and Pine Lake Resort on the banks of Lake Longmere in White River in Mpumalanga.
