Knysna, get ready! The 2020 Pink Loerie Mardi Gras and Arts Festival, Mr Gay World 2020 and the Knysna Pride parade are coming to you.
The festival will run from 30 April to 3 May 2020, under the theme of authenticity and social justice, which are captured by the hashtags: #BeYourself #ThisIsMyStory #TellYourStory
The parade will take place on the Saturday, 2 May 2020 at 3pm. Everybody is encouraged to dress up in their most outrageous pink outfit, in order to stand a chance to win the best dressed prize, while business owners are invited to enter a float into the parade.
Mr Gay World 2020 will run from Sunday 26 April to Sunday 3 May, with the grand finale taking place on Saturday 2 May, at Villa Castollini. This prestigious competition brings together entrants from all over the globe, and the winner is seen as a role model for LGBTQ+ people everywhere. Tickets will be on sale from the 1 March 2020.
