Repatriation of international tourists | The Planner

DIRCO, the Department of International Relations and Cooperation, has indicated that embassies are taking full responsibility for their citizens in South Africa. This includes establishing where their citizens currently are, negotiating repatriation flights with the South African Government, arranging accommodation and airport transfers, and arranging all relevant permits and permissions.

It is critical that all foreign citizens are in touch with their embassies and have registered their current details with South African Tourism. Registering with South African Tourism can be done here.
