ICS Africa, and event and consultancy brand, is set to roll-out a virtual event conference in Ghana called The Event Summit Africa 2020 [TESA] – Virtual Experience.
The event, the first of its kind, will present a round-up of exciting and skilled event practitioners, entrepreneurs and IT professionals who will take turns to address important questions plaguing the continent’s vibrant event space.
Originally planned to take place at the SB Incubator, TESA was redesigned into a virtual conference to suit the needs of participants as well as observe the needed social distancing.
The theme of this year’s event is The future of the events industry in Africa: Leveraging Digital Technology for Effective Events Management.
Founder and CEO, Emmaline Datey, has described this event as a tool which the continent can use to empower itself, adding that Africa must leverage digital technology to its advantage in this trying time.
The speakers for the maiden edition include: Sandra Awo Delali – Founder and CEO of Rose Petals, UK; Kwame Opoku – Founder and CEO of Reset Global, Ghana; and Leonardo Oshiyemi – Chief Technology Officer of Hoffenheim Technologies, Nigeria.
The event will be held on social media, IG Live from 21 to 23 May 2020.
