The Joint Meetings Industry Council (JMIC) did a 2-part webinar showcasing the industry speaking with one voice. Input from industry leaders, including the South Africa National Convention Bureau (SANCB, organisers of Meetings Africa) and the Southern African Association for the Conference Industry (SAACI), and guidance from Professor Greg Clark, is being used to complete an Industry Manifesto delivering joint messaging for our sector – to governments, decision makers, stakeholders – about the role Business Events have to play in the economic recovery post COVID-19.
