The tourism industry took up the #JerusalemaChallenge in response to President Cyril Ramaphosa’s call. From coast-to-coast, and everywhere in between, those who work in this sector rose to the challenge – showing their resilience and passion, while at the same time showing the varied and abundant beauty that our country has to offer.
The dance was coordinated across the country on 30 September, which was a fitting tribute for the end of Tourism Month.
The following day, 01 October, marks the reopening of international borders which the sector has been eagerly anticipating as a critical step towards its recovery. The message is clear – #SouthAfricaIsTravelReady.
