Hotel Sky aims high | The Planner

A newly-launched South African hotel venture was announced this past week.

The brand, Hotel Sky, will initially launch with two flagship hotels, with the first being located in Sandton, and the other a 29-storey building on Cape Town’s foreshore.

The group will also be the first hotel in the country to make use of AI-powered robots to assist with luggage, room service and other guest relations.

In addition to creating 500 new jobs, the group will also be the first hotel in the country to make use of AI-powered robots to assist with luggage, room service and other guest relations.

Hotel Sky’s venues have been designed with the aim of providing a unique and exciting sensory experience for guests, and with rooms starting from R695 per night, the group caters for an offering that is both indulgent and upmarket while still being affordable.

Features unique to Hotel Sky include exquisite dining and entertainment; high-tech features such as a self-playing grand piano and app-based room access, and more.
