The result is a fusion of proudly South African elements with a subtle Art Deco feel, playing with light from the buildingโ€™s huge windows, as well as layers and textures. Local artist were commissioned to bring her ideas to life, from furniture manufacturers, industrial designers and shopfitters to artists and ceramicists.

Louise adds, โ€œNot only was it important that the aesthetics play a role in this 168-bedroom hotel but there is a synergy required where technology, sustainability and design meet to create an unforgettable guest experience, an authentic โ€˜home-away-from-homeโ€™ experience.โ€
