City Lodge Hotel Group announces new staff appointments | The Planner

City Lodge Hotel Group has made eight new staff appointments recently. These are as follows:

New appointments: Colleen Goodman, Lischen Gurovich, Sinenhlanhla β€œSneh” Maphumulo and Devandra Narismulu

Colleen Goodman has been appointed Group Marketing Manager. This is a new position that has been created to boost the group’s post-pandemic marketing activities under the leadership of Zuki Jantjies, Divisional Director of Sales and Marketing. Colleen brings a wealth of experience to the role, having most recently held the position of Head of Marketing for LG Electronics South Africa.

Lischen Gurovich has been promoted to Group Human Resources Manager. Her previous position was Group Talent Manager, and she will retain this portfolio while also assuming oversight and responsibility for the group’s learning and development function (assisted by Sneh Maphumulo) and various other HR functions.

Sinenhlanhla β€œSneh” Maphumulo has been promoted to Group Skills Development Facilitator. She has been with the company’s Human Resources division since 2016 where she has gained extensive skills, knowledge and capacity in the learning and development environment. This will equip her well to take on these broader responsibilities.

Devandra Narismulu has been appointed Executive Chef at City Lodge Hotel at OR Tambo International Airport. He will now head up the revamped kitchen and newly extended buffet restaurant that complements the a la carte menu. Devendra is the second executive chef that City Lodge Hotel Group has appointed, as the group’s food and beverage offering continues to grow.

New appointments: Liz Clarke, Claudelia Sewbaran, Mandy Gunpath and Ross Thompson

Liz Clarke has been appointed General Manager of City Lodge Hotel Waterfall City. She previously held the position of General Manager of City Lodge Hotel Sandton in Morningside.

Claudelia Sewbaran has been promoted to Senior Procurement Officer from her role as Procurement Officer.

Mandy Gunpath has been promoted to General Manager of City Lodge Hotel Sandton, Morningside. Prior to this she was Assistant General Manager of City Lodge Hotel at OR Tambo International Airport and Acting General Manager at City Lodge Hotel Lynnwood.

Ross Thompson is now the General Manager of Road Lodge Sandton, following his previous tenure as General Manager of Road Lodge Cape Town International Airport.
