The much-anticipated MINT Resorts the Blyde Hotel is officially opening this weekend, and accommodation bookings are now open.
Based in East Pretoria, MINT Resorts the Blyde is a luxurious lifestyle estate. In addition to the hotel and residential apartments, the resort boasts 5 multi-purpose venues, giving event planners some exciting new options to consider once they open later this month.
‘Meet’ the venues
- The largest venue is 332 m² and can accommodate up to 250 delegates in a schoolroom layout or 200 guests in a banqueting style. It also has floor-to-ceiling east facing windows which open onto a 325 m² balcony overlooking the crystal lagoon – perfect for refreshment breaks or pre-dinner drinks.
- The hotel has 2 smaller breakaway rooms that can be used in various ways, such as for office space, as holding rooms during large events, or for smaller board meetings.
- Another breakaway space is available next to the Vista restaurant, also overlooking the lagoon, which can accommodate 80 delegates in cinema seating.
- The fifth venue is an 18-seater cinema located inside lifestyle centre.
