As a highlight of Africa Travel Week 2024, the programme for the 10th edition of the WTM Africa has just been announced.
The programme for this yearโs event features favourites such as the ever-popular speed networking event together with the Responsible Tourism Awards. However, there are new not-to-be-missed occasions that you need to put onto your itinerary for your visit to WTM Africa.
Brain Box
The Brain Box is a workshop-style space where industry professionals are able to engage in meaningful and thought-provoking discussions with global players about challenges (and possible solutions to these) that they are encountering in the industry.
Sustainability Village
This is a hub where industry professionals are brought together with local artisans, crafters and thought leaders to underscore responsible tourism in action.
Tourism Investment Forum Africa
A partnership has been formed with Tourism Investment Forum Africa (TIFA) which runs alongside the WTM. This event proactively positions Africa as a go-to hub for investment. TIFA looks to promote tourism โ together with related economic sectors โ between Africa and the rest of the world.
