This Women’s Day, we celebrate the women who lead, create, connect, encourage, inspire — and very often, quietly make the impossible happen.
At 4Mal Media Management, Women’s Day holds a particularly special place in our hearts. As a 100% women-owned company, we have the privilege of working alongside incredible women every single day — within our own team, across the MICE and business events industry, and throughout the wider tourism, hospitality and events community.
This year, the celebration feels just a little more meaningful.
On 28 July 2026, 4Mal Media Management officially turned three years old. In the beautiful chaos of deadlines, publications and preparing for the Women in MICE Awards, we never really had the opportunity to stop and celebrate the milestone properly.
Perhaps Women’s Day is the perfect time to do just that.
Three years of building. Three years of learning. Three years of taking chances, growing our brands, creating new opportunities and, most importantly, surrounding ourselves with an incredible community of people who believe in what we are building.
And just a few days ago, we had the privilege of hosting the Women in MICE Awards 2026, making the meaning behind Women’s Day feel even more special this year. Women in MICE has always been about much more than an awards ceremony. It is about creating a space where women are seen, celebrated and recognised for the contribution they make to our industry.
It is about acknowledging leadership at every level — from women who have spent decades building their careers and opening doors for others, to those who are only just beginning to find their place and make their mark.
Our 2026 theme, Timeless Influence, reminded us that influence is not always loud.
Sometimes it is the person who mentors someone behind the scenes. The colleague who makes room at the table. The business owner who keeps going when things become difficult. The woman who shares an opportunity, offers encouragement, makes an introduction or simply says, “You can do this.”
That is the kind of influence that lasts.
As a women-owned business, we are incredibly proud to play our small part in telling these stories through our publications, digital platforms and initiatives such as Women in MICE.
But none of us builds anything entirely on our own.
And so, today we also want to recognise all the beautiful people who stand beside the women in our industry and in our lives every single day.
To the partners, husbands, wives, families, friends, colleagues, mentors, teams and supporters who encourage, uplift, make space, share the load, celebrate the wins and sometimes simply remind a woman to keep going — thank you.
Your support matters.
Women’s Day is, of course, about celebrating women, but it is also a beautiful reminder of what becomes possible when we support one another.
So today, we celebrate every woman finding her voice, building her business, growing her career, supporting another woman, raising a family, starting again, taking a chance, learning something new or simply doing her best every day.
We celebrate the women who lead from the front and those who quietly make a difference behind the scenes.
We celebrate those who have been doing this for decades and those who are only just beginning.
And perhaps we will quietly raise a glass to ourselves too — for three years of 4Mal Media Management, for everything we have learned along the way and for everything still to come.
To the women in our team, our industry, our communities and our lives: thank you for the energy, heart, creativity and determination you bring to the world.
Keep taking up space.
Keep opening doors.
