Conrad Pezula Resort & Spa is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Food & Beverage Manager for its two distinguished restaurants and champagne and cocktail bar.
Armand Brunde Louw, previously Assistant Food & Beverage Manager at Conrad Pezula Resort & Spa, has enjoyed a rich 25-year background in hospitality which has taken him from a barman and waiter role to managing three silver-service restaurants and now to this latest promotion at one of South Africa’s leading hotels. Armand holds a Basic Chef’s Diploma from SAMS Catering College and a Team Management Diploma from the Johnson & Wales University of Maritime Hotel Academy
In his new role, Louw will focus on training and development of team members and oversee all Food & Beverage activities at the resort to ensure guests delight in an inspired culinary experience. To better cater to both local and international guests, a key aspect of Louw’s function will be the continued innovation of the resort’s award winning food & beverage offering and new product development to enhance the resort’s international flair.
Louw, who was a member of the victorious Conrad Pezula Resort & Spa team at Hilton Worldwide’s 2012 F&B Masters Competition, added, “I am excited to lead Conrad Pezula’s Food & Beverage operations to greater success with the support of my immensely talented team. Our goal is to combine our expertise and signature premium service with the creation of exceptional dishes, using only the finest local ingredients, to ensure an exceptional gastronomic journey for every guest.”
