Following an extended pause in activity across its properties for the first time in its 50-year history, Tsogo Sun Hotels is back open for business.
Officially reopening its doors on 10 June, Tsogo has rolled out an extensive set of measures across its properties to prioritise the safety of all guests and staff. In line with regulations, staff have been provided with personal protective equipment (PPE) and training on COVID-19 hygiene protocols and preventative measures. This encompasses how rooms and public areas are cleaned and disinfected, as well as the preparation and serving of food.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has certainly dictated a new way of life, which the Group has embraced, beginning with the check-in process, where guests will have their temperatures checked along with mandatory hand sanitising while adhering to the 1.5m social distancing rule,” comments Marcel von Aulock, CEO of Tsogo Sun Hotels.
Currently, under the level 3 lockdown protocols, only business travel is permitted and Tsogo Sun is enticing guests with attractive room rates from just R699 in Cape Town, R850 in Johannesburg and R895 in Durban (inclusive of breakfast).
