Victoria & Alfred Hotel bathrooms receive a facelift | The Planner

The Victoria & Alfred Hotel, the first hotel to be built on the V&A Waterfront, remains one of the most popular and coveted hotels in Cape Town. It’s personalised luxury and distinction, combined with its prime location gives the hotel a reputation of elegance, intimacy and personalised service.

In keeping with modern trends, the hotel has plans to give its bathrooms on both the first and second floors a facelift. Sixty eight bathrooms in total will receive upgrades to further enhance the luxurious feel that is already offered to guests. Refurbishments will include a total refit; separate bath and showers will remain with the inclusion of his and hers basins, while larger mirrors and upgrades will create an all-round more spacious feeling.

Scheduled to start in May 2014 and with completion by the end of August 2014, there will be minimal disruption to guests as each floor will be closed during the refurbishment.

Framed by the ocean view of the bustling harbour and the iconic Table Mountain, the elegance of the Victoria & Alfred Hotel is rivalled only by its relaxed atmosphere and warm personal service, epitomising South African’s world renowned hospitality.
