Following the win of the award for best weekend getaway in the 2015 Leisure Options Best of Joburg Readers’ Choice Awards and the annual Best of Pretoria Readers Choice Awards, Sun International’s Sun City has been named as one of the world’s best family hotel resorts in the 2015 Best of Family Travel Awards staged by Australia’s leading family holiday, travel and leisure magazine, Out & About with Kids.
This year’s awards programme canvassed the sentiments of Australian families across everything from ski resorts and cruise lines, to cities and beaches, camping spots and best holiday resorts for families with babies and toddlers in tow. Covering Out & About with Kids’ vast print and online audience, including digital subscribers and Facebook friends and followers, votes were tallied for 16 key family holiday categories, both domestic and international. Sun City is a finalist in the Best Family Hotel/Resort in the USA, Africa and Europe category. The winner of the category was Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, USA.
