Elevated three metres above the ground with views overlooking Xanatsi Dam, Giraffe’s Nest really offers an unforgettable experience. A retractable canvass roof (in case it rains), as well as a locked door leading to the main area, allows guests to sleep under the stars, and hear the nocturnal sounds of the bush up-close and personal and all while being perfectly safe.A guide takes guests from the Main Camp or from Geiger’s Camp to the hide. The hide is often used as a watering hole for animals and boasts magnificent views, which guests can enjoy when taken there shortly before sunset. Once they arrive at the hide, they are left to enjoy every luxury and comfort offered by the Motswari main camp, as well as dinner and drinks in their own private and tranquil setting.

An eco-bathroom, comfortable chairs on the viewing deck and a charming bed complete the offering. Guests are then collected the following morning for breakfast back at either Main Camp or Geiger’s Camp.R1 300 surcharge per person per night. Book with Newmark Hotels, Reserves & Lodges (NB: persons under 12 not allowed at Giraffe’s Nest).
