Unpacking net zero carbon events

Alex Alles will be unpacking the global initiative, the Net Zero Carbon Events (NZCE), to industry role-players in a free online talk on 20 July 2023.

Alex joined the Joint Meetings Industry Council (JMIC) in August 2022. There he is responsible for the overall operations of the association as well as the project office of the Net Zero Carbon Events (NZCE). NZCE is an industry-wide initiative aiming to help stakeholders of the meetings and events sectors to decarbonise.

Net Zero Carbon Events is a global initiative by the meetings and events industry to address climate change as a collective ecosystem. The initiative was launched in 2021 and now counts over 550 supporters in over 50 countries. It is free of charge and open to all stakeholders from the events industry: all direct operators within the value chain of events (organisers, venues, service providers, logistics…) as well as partners such as destinations, associations, media etc.
