In 1998, local entrepreneurs Alastair Laing and Rosemary Foord, in association with Red Carpet Leisure, took a bold step out of corporate to form Unlimited Events and Entertainment – offering the local market team building, resort entertainment and corporate fun days.
The phenomenal growth of this small company saw the incorporation of Unlimited Events Decor and new shareholders Rosemary Foord and Freddy Coetzee in 2000, while Unlimited Events Entertainment acquired new shareholder Craig Hughes. The group’s services and expertise evolved to include corporate event theming and product launches, wedding décor, year-end functions and conferences. In 2008 Laing successfully bought out Red Carpet Leisure, later Craig Hughes and introduced board new shareholder - Mr Garth Bianchi.
By this time, the dynamic Decor and Entertainment company had burgeoned to a staff complement of over 130 and boasted a client base of 1400. In February 2013 Unlimited Events Group was formed to house the various event supply divisions including Unlimited Events Décor, Unlimited Events Entertainment, Unlimited Kids Parties, Unlimited Balloons, and most recent acquisitions Unlimited Hire and Unlimited Photos.
Today Unlimited Events Group is a leader in the events supply industry and the preferred event solution supplier to many blue chip venues across the country, including Gallagher Convention Centre and is rated by SEESA as a level 3 BEE corporation.

We provide state-of-the-art lighting for any event. Our lighting includes, and is not limited to, over a 150 LED Par Cans and an extensive collection of Intel Moving Head LEDs. We also offer décor, party, show, UV and neon lighting for any type of event.
We provide staging, bands, lighting and DJs to set the mood for any event and theme. We have grown massively in this field and are regarded as one on the leading sound, lighting and AV companies in the country, with talented DJ’s, technicians and the best equipment on offer.
Holiday Resort Entertainment and Resort Promotions
At present, we create and host entertainment programs at 8 holiday destinations around South Africa with captivated audiences of over 3500 guests per day at each resort. We invite promotional partners to the resorts and create exciting entertainment programs.

Our décor aims to inspire the imagination, captivating the essence of an event through offering clients the hire of stylish décor and every accessory imaginable to transform ordinary spaces into magnificent events that create the most memorable experiences.
Housing roughly 2 000sqm of event décor stock under our roof, our event décor for hire range includes linen, glassware, props, backdrops, draping, lighting, furniture, candelabra, chairs, carpets and so much more.
