The Women in MICE Awards
The Women in MICE Awards celebrate the pivotal role women play in shaping meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions.
Coming into its eighth installment, this prestigious event highlights the power of connections and collaborations in driving innovation and growth and empowering women to achieve both their personal and professional ambitions.
Supported by leading MICE industry brands, Meetings magazine and theplannerguru.co.za, the Women in MICE Awards serve as a vital
platform to inspire, support, and unite women across the industry. By emphasising collaboration, the Awards strengthen networks and enable women to leverage shared resources, building a thriving community of empowered professionals.
2021 WiM Awards launch event
Following a challenging year that saw many events either cancelled or postponed, including 3S Media’s very own Women in MICE Awards, the launch of the 2021 Awards took place on 11 March 2021, with attendees live-streaming the virtually hosted event on GoToWebinar.
WiM mentorship
The Women in MICE 2021 Awards will continue to include a partnership with Queen Ramotsehoa from the Tsheto Leadership & Coaching Academy, an academy that uses an empowered and empowering approach to achieve high performance results. Queen’s expertise will ensure that the Awards mentorship programme is effective and delivers real benefits to the young women who are starting out in the industry.
WiM ambassador
In the words of Eleanor Roosevelt, “Choose a challenge instead of competence”. We need to break free from the limitations of the status quo, says Thami Nkadimeng.
A moderator, MC and facilitator, Thami is a message architect who creates impactful messages through conversation, non-verbal, written and visual communication. Thami is a communications strategist and MICE expert – and the embodiment of what the awards stand for.
