SITE Summit set to inspire | The Planner

The Society of Incentive Travel Executives (SITE) is a world-wide association of 2000 plus members and will be holding their Chapter Summit on the 28th August at Johannesburgs Melrose Arch.

The stunning programme kicks-off with the outstanding Dion Chang from the renowned Flux Trends. Changs annual trend synopsis is a crowd pleaser of note. All middle to senior management in the MICE industry, serious about the future trajectory of five macro trends that affect all aspects of modern life, will miss out not at this keynote address.

The inaugural SITE Summit was a huge success in July 2011 with well over 130 senior industry players present at Montecasino. The CMP Network were privileged to be a part of the panel discussion.

An interesting programme development this year are the two sessions that will focus on incentive houses, agencies and corporate companies while as well as event agencies, DMCs and hoteliers. In fact all high-powered individuals that need to tap-in to the current state of the inbound and South African domestic industry should join this particular session.

Added to the jam-packed programme will be two further hot topics (a) the current state of the hotel industry and (b) the power of competitions.

With a plethora of travel and tourism related gatherings to choose from over the next six weeks the MICE industry are well-advised to look no further than the SITE Summit. The high input value coupled with significant networking opportunities at a ridiculously low fee cannot be equaled.
