Sandton Convention Centre has added another prestigious award to its impressive collection by winning the Best Corporate Conference Venue (over 500 pax) Award at this years BTAfrica Business Travel Awards.
Earlier this year, Sandton Convention Centre won the Technical Production Services Association Award in the Favourite Technical Venue category for the sixth time.
The Business Travel Awards were launched this year in recognition of the brands or entities that excelled in the areas of overall experience and service offering to the business travel industry, which is responsible for a large portion of the continents travel spend. The Business Travel Awards are presented by The Institute of Travel and Meetings Southern Africa (ITMSA) in conjunction with TNS, South Africas largest customised market research agency.

Other significant awards presented to Sandton Convention Centre in recent years include the Top 500 Award as 1st in Exhibitions and Conference Facilities in 2010 and a Silver Arrow in the PMR National Survey on Event and Exhibition Venues.
Also recognised in BTAfricas Business Travel Awards this year was Sandton Convention Centres parent company, Tsogo Sun, which won the Best African Hotel Brand with locations in South Africa Award.
