Aint no mountain too high | The Planner

Long standing Meetings SA and SA Conference client and supporter Barry Futter of Adventure Works, and SATSA member, will give back by taking on the Freedom Challenge Mountain Bike race from Pietermaritzburg to Paarl in mid-June. This 2400km off-road race is unassisted meaning that riders need to carry their own provisions as they navigate their way through remote areas braving snow, rain, mud and freezing temperatures.

Through this ride Futter is aiming to raise support and awareness for the Sisanda FunDaytion. Sisanda FunDaytion is a non-profit organization making a difference in the lives of disadvantaged children by taking them on fun days of laughter and activity in areas of natural beauty. Their beneficiaries include children’s homes, convalescent hospitals & community centres in and around the Western Cape as well as the adult volunteers who accompany the children on the day.

“I am a firm believer in the power of fun to motivate people to lead a fulfilling life. I have been fortunate enough to enjoy some fantastic experiences, of which I’m sure the Freedom Challenge will be one, and would like to create that opportunity for those less fortunate.” Says Futter.

By sponsoring Futter as little as R150 on the Freedom Challenge you will create an opportunity for one child to go on an awesome experience. You are welcome to sponsor more than one child. 100% of the proceeds go to Sisanda FunDaytion.

The aim is to Raise R15 000 which will ensure an entire class the enjoyment of a fun day out.
