Guvon Hotels & Spas is adding a second golfing destination to its portfolio.
Kosie Pansegrouw, Managing Director of Guvon Hotels & Spas, and Gary Geddes, General Manager of Ruimsig Country Club, signed a five year agreement with Guvon Hotels & Spas to manage and market the conference, banqueting and other food and beverage facilities at Ruimsig Country Club. This brings the total of properties in the Guvon Hotels Portfolio to eight plus the four existing spas.
Pansegrouw sees great potential in Ruimsig Country Club due to its geographic location on the western side of the Greater Johannesburg Metropolitan Area. “Ruimsig is one of the country’s fastest growing areas in terms of infrastructure and development. Furthermore Ruimsig Country Club’s proximity to the multi-purpose, world-class Ruimsig Stadium, often used for football matches and athletics events, and the massive Cradlestone Mall which is set to open later in the year, increases its appeal and value.”
Ruimsig Country Club is situated on one of the finest golf courses in Gauteng and known for being one of South Africa’s most challenging Championship Golf Courses. It offers several multifunctional venues that can host up to 350 guests, making it ideal for year-end functions, weddings, banqueting and conferences.
