At the recent PMR Africa Awards, Emerald Resort & Casino was presented with four awards ranging from diamond to bronze in the Sedibeng District Survey.
According to Sharon de Leur, Marketing Executive at Emerald Resort & Casino, the sought after diamond award was won in the Executive Lifestyle Category for Casinos/Entertainment Centres category by achieving first place.
Other awards included two golds for Executive Lifestyle Category for Holiday Resorts and Executive Lifestyle Category for Executive Hotels (4 stars +) with an additional bronze for the Leaders and Achievers Category for Conference/Convention Centres.
“One of our goals is to promote tourism within the Sedibeng and Vaal area. We appreciate the recognition that we are on course to achieve our goals.”
Rated by a random sample of 100 respondents comprising of CEO’s, MD’s, business owners, company directors and managers and local government officials based in the Sedibeng District, companies and institutions were recognised for doing the most in their sectors over the past twelve months to stimulate the economic growth and development of Sedibeng District.
Furthermore the awards are the result of respondent’s perceptions of companies and institutions with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
“We set high standards for ourselves when it comes to customer satisfaction and see these awards as confirmation that these standards are being met,” says de Leur.
