Stellenbosch’s Oude Werf Hotel will be closed from May to July while it undergoes the final stages of its multi-million rand renovation. The hotel will reopen from 1 August.
Work is expected to continue to the end of October, however it will have minimal impact on guests.
The renovation will see that hotel expand its room occupancy with an addition of 13 rooms, bringing the total to 62. The existing rooms will be upgraded, the kitchen extended and an elevator will be installed in the main hotel foyer. There has been an addition of a lounge and bar and the restaurant as been re-branded, Liefde Bistro.
