Travel trade registrations have now opened for Houston Travel Marketing’s annual Spotlight on Africa & Indian Ocean Workshops from July 22-24 in Gauteng and Cape Town.
Derek Houston advises that 25 exhibitors from ten African countries will be participating at the workshops. We have a number of hotels and resorts from Kenya and Zanzibar and a good representation from Zimbabwe and Zambia. South African provinces and hotels are also well represented at Spotlight. Travel trade attendees will be able to meet with Inbound DMC’s who offer services to seven East African countries, Morocco, Egypt, Middle East and the Gulf States .
From a MICE perspective Spotlight will be of particular interest for conference organisers and incentive travel DMC’s as a number of exhibitors will be promoting new conferencing venues as well as incentive programmes.
Travel agents and PCO’s are also welcome to invite their corporate clients to join them at Spotlight as a number of the Spotlight exhibitors offer packages for Business travellers and corporate conferencing specials.
The workshops take place at the Protea Balalaika Sandton on 22 July, Crowne Plaza Johannesburg – The Rosebank on 23 July and at the Clock Tower Conference Centre V& A Waterfront Cape Town on 24 July 24.
