The Sandton Convention Centre team would like to congratulate Lorraine Strydom, Sales Manager, Exhibitions at Sandton Convention Centre, who has been honoured for the second consecutive year in the Exhibition & Event Association South Africa (EXSA) Awards as the โ€˜Best Venue Employee Awardโ€™ for 2014.

The EXSA awards relies on nominations and votes from peers in the industry on a range of categories,ย  i.e. Best Stand Award, Best Exhibition Award, Green Award, Best Company Award, Best Company Employee Award, Chairmanโ€™s Award and Induction into the EXSA Hall of Fame. Winners were announced on 26 November at a stylish awards evening themed โ€˜Around the World with EXSAโ€™.

EXSA began in 1980 and provides a forum for the collective representation of the industry which focuses on active growth, development and building industry credibility through a number of initiatives and structures.

Strydom notes how amazing it is to be recognised for ones efforts not once but twice and for a consecutive year. โ€œI am privileged to work with a team that makes what I do easier, showcasing our commitment to success. I have been in the industry for a number of years winning this award makes helping my clients achieve their goals worth it.โ€
