ibtm Events has confirmed that their newly branded ibtm knowledge week is set to take place from 27 April –1 May 2015 and has also announced the launch of its new website.
“We are launching inspire.ibtmevents.com as a platform for connecting the meetings community to knowledge and inspiration. Every year through our events we are fortunate to access knowledge from some of the greatest minds in the industry and we are delighted to now have a way of sharing all of these global insights,” says Katie Devaney, head of marketing at ibtm events.
Throughout 2014, ibtm events delivered over 120 knowledge sessions in Asia, Middle East, America, Europe and Africa. These sessions provided attendees with topical and exclusive insight, news on current and future trends and created inspiring debates from an international line up of influential speakers.
ibtm knowledge week will showcase a selection of knowledge sessions including case studies and videos, as well as blogs, articles and Q&As.

• Leadership
Inspirational speaker, Gerrit Heijkoop, will be conducting a live Twitter discussion around social media and LinkedIn tips on Thursday 30th April at 12:00 – 13:00 and Managing Director of MICE Knowledge, Dr Rob Davidson, will reveal some future predictions in an exclusive interview, whilst Hybrid event expert Paul Cook will be giving some tips and updates on developments in the hybrid world in a blog. Thought leader, David Bancroft-Turner, will give insight into the behaviours and attitudes of successful leaders.
