The Maslow Hotel in Sandton is putting a gourmet spin on packed lunches. Greasy take-out lunches, on-the-road convenience food, or skipping lunch altogether are simply not good enough for its guests.
“When staying at The Maslow, we tend to our guests’ every need, even when they aren’t at the hotel. We have taken the guesswork and frustration over what to do for lunch off their shoulders. Now they conveniently place an order for their preferred breakfast or lunch, and our Lacuna Bistro team will prepare it and pack it for them to eat when they are ready. This is just another innovation to make The Maslowreally feel like a home away from home,” says Keletso Kowa, the hotel’s PR and Marketing Manager.
Lacuna Bistro’s culinary team, lead by the newly-appointed executive chef Jason Millar, has put together a menu of delicious and fresh options for The Maslow’s guests to take with them on their business ventures.
Breakfast choices include premium Bircher muesli, fruit salads, muffins and Bulgarian yoghurts in different flavours. And for lunch they can choose from an array of freshly-prepared salads and traditional toasted sandwiches.
The Gourmet Sandwich Selection boasts exciting choices such as rare roast beef, gherkin, tomato, onion, wild rocket and mustard mayonnaise; Spanish chorizo, chili, parmesan, tomato, cucumber, gherkin and boerenkaas cheddar; smoked salmon, red onion, tomato,feta, cream cheese and iceberg lettuce, and a hearty club sandwich, decked with avocado, bacon, egg, tomato, cucumber, parmesan, and chicken breast.
