The differing sectors of the MICE industry know that the delegations out there are becoming more discerning in whether they will be switched on to attend an event or not dependent solely on the programme content as well as their professional return on investment.
Potential participants are primarily drawn to programmes that not only allow for their specific inputs but also improve a range of particular tasks long after the event is over. This is also known as high level message retention benefits.
The Event Industry Summit (EIS) programme is such an undertaking. A birdโs eye view of programme progress to date is likely to generate much interest and indeed early bookings.
With the overall objectives of sifting through the MICE challenges and shaping a blueprint to higher standards, the three distinct sessions are:
- MICE venue challenges: with and without accommodation links
- Independent planners: full service, broker and agent
- Salaried buyers (end-users): external supplier/service selections and internal systems
Invited session panelists together with potential participants, who have expressed great interest in being involved in the second EIS, will provide their perspectives from the various briefs provided.
The organising committee is confident that the interest generated over the coming months will further the MICE industryโs ultimate aims for a greater return on investment on a variety of levels.
