ABC of CPD | The Planner

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) has a track record going back over a 30 year period.

A number of professions, such as specialised medical doctors, accountants, engineers to name a few, would not be allowed to practise without annual credits, points or units indicating their up-to-date professional knowledge.

Occupations such as marketers, forensic examiners, human resource managers commenced CPD programmes some 10 years ago, as entry into certain occupations necessitated being at the cutting-edge of new methods and processes.

CPD is a well-established acronym which is easily recognised by the serious professionals irrespective of the discipline.  CPD is the ongoing process of skilling experienced individuals with the latest information within their specific field of expertise.
