Darling Music Festival

Located at various venues around the quaint small town of Darling, the experience is a mixture of gourmet food, locally sourced wine and great music. Over 16 days classical, jazz, choir and opera can be heard as well as a special composition from a young up-and-coming South African composer.

Jazz On The Rocks

For sea, sun and good music, visit the pristine setting of the Cape West Coast. Built on giant rocks on the beach you can swim, kayak or hike the nature trail all while listening to the ripples of a jazz melody. If festival goers stay until the sun sets they will be rewarded with a spectacular view of a clear starry sky.

Splashy Fen

Open air dancing sessions, river dives and great music, Splashy Fen, South Africa’s longest running music festival, has something for everyone. With a diverse range of music, festival goers can see some of the best talent in the country such as Mango Groove, Dan Patlansky and Chico Muyo.

Dates: 24th – 27th March, 2016

Witchfest is the biggest metal festival in the whole of Africa. Thrash, grunge and seriously loud music is to be expected. Dark clothes and head banging is not mandatory but is advised.

Sowing the Seeds Music & Lifestyle Festival

Get some sunshine at the Johannesburg Sowing the Seeds Music festival. Featuring Icelandic indie folk band, Of Monsters and Men as well as British neo soul group Jungle, the event promises to be bigger and better than ever before.
