The Building Bridges Foundation is a non-profit organization with a mission to foster youth-led solutions from the grassroots and to implement this on a national, if not global, level.
We aim to bridge the gaps between young people from the grassroots, government officials and CEOs.Building Bridges Foundation do this by traveling on a bus through 8 African countries. We want to learn from young people on the ground to give them a voice and to work together on youth-driven solutions for youth employment and youth entrepreneurship.
A Youth Ambassador will receive ownership over the Building Bridges project in his or her country. This provides them with the opportunity to champion their vision for a more just world. They will lead their peers and the wider community in pursuing the mission of the Building Bridges project.
Eligibility
Applicants should be residents of the following countries: South Africa, Swaziland, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda.
Age between 18 – 30 years
Believe in a world where young people can shape their own future
Be passionate about youth-led development
Have good organizational skills and can work independently
Are willing to work at least 6-8 hours a week for the Building Bridges project
