The Building Bridges Foundation is a non-profit organization with a mission to foster youth-led solutions from the grassroots and to implement this on a national, if not global, level.

We aim to bridge the gaps between young people from the grassroots, government officials and CEOs.Building Bridges Foundation do this by traveling on a bus through 8 African countries. We want to learn from young people on the ground to give them a voice and to work together on youth-driven solutions for youth employment and youth entrepreneurship.

A Youth Ambassador will receive ownership over the Building Bridges project in his or her country. This provides them with the opportunity to champion their vision for a more just world. They will lead their peers and the wider community in pursuing the mission of the Building Bridges project.road to nairobi

 

Eligibility

 

Applicants should be residents of the following countries: South Africa, Swaziland, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda.

Age between 18 – 30 years
Believe in a world where young people can shape their own future
Be passionate about youth-led development
Have good organizational skills and can work independently
Are willing to work at least 6-8 hours a week for the Building Bridges project
