De Hoek Country Hotel is pleased to announce the appointment of Gavin Ferreira to the position of General Manager and Khulile Mkhabela as Sales Manager.
Gavin Ferreira, started his career in the hospitality industry in 2001, and has held several luxury Hotel management positions including most recently Deputy General Manager of The Twelve Apostles Hotel, Cape Town, before relocating to Magaliesburg last week. Gavin has had a very strong Culinary and Beverage training both in the UK and SA, and we are excited to see the planned improvements that will be taking place here at De Hoek over the next few months.
Gavin has taken over the reins from Michael Holenstein who has recently sold his shares to Isaac and Khumo Shongwe. Michael has been appointed to the position of Executive Major of Mogale City and we wish him all the very best in his very demanding new role. According to Johann Redelinghuys, founding owner of De Hoek Country Hotel, these exciting partnerships with The Shongwe’s as well as Gavin and Khulile’s new appointments, are key elements to ensuring the continued success of this very special hotel, and to taking De Hoek to the next level in the luxury hotel sector.
Khulile Mkhabela with her vast amount of sales and marketing experience is also a great addition to the team. Khulile is ready to take on the challenge and ensuring the corporate Johannesburg / Pretoria
market is taken care of. Khulile is based in Fourways, and is prepared to assist with any corporate or event enquiries. You can’t help but fall in love with her warm and welcoming personality.
