AAXO (Association of African Exhibition Organisers) and EXSA (Exhibition and Events Association of Southern Africa) worked together once again under the Exhibition Industry Alliance (EIA) banner. These two industry giants co-hosted the AAXO ROAR Awards and EXSA-llence Awards at a glamorous gala dinner, dubbed the Exhibition Industry Alliance Awards on Thursday, 1 February 2018.
Once again, Sandton Convention Centre was voted the Best Venue EXSA-LLENCE award for superior and consultative service and management by industry peers. Sandton Convention Centre’s Exhibitions Sales Manager, Daksha Vallabh was also honoured as the Best Venue Employee at the black and gold themed awards ceremony which took place at Ticketpro Dome.
Sandton Convention Centre GM, Shaun Bird was delighted to accept the award on Sandton Convention Centre’s behalf and had this to say: “Acknowledgement by a respected event and exhibition industry association such as EXSA re-enforces Sandton Convention Centre’s commitment to consistently offering all our clients excellence.”
By promoting participation in the African exhibition and events industry and recognising excellence in exhibition organisation, this prestigious awards event offered role players who contribute to all aspects of exhibitions and events a platform to showcase their portfolio of work.
