Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) has unveiled its exclusive rooftop venue that is bound to excite event planners and organisers. Aptly named the Mountain View Terrace, CTICC 2’s rooftop location played host to more than 200 guests at its official Summer to Cape Town launch party. Guests were treated to DJ Switch on the decks and the Angelo Danster Quartet.
Providing a breathtaking setting with panoramic views of Adderley Street and Table Mountain, the new 561m2 venue sits atop CTICC 2’s triple-volume glass atrium facade that is lit up at night.
For more intimate rooftop venues, CTICC 2 boasts the Harbour View Terrace that overlooks the city’s harbour district and with 222m2 of floorspace can accommodate up to 85 guests. CTICC 1, meanwhile, offers the Roof Terrace Room and with an outdoor balcony and a combined space of 370m2, it can accommodate up to 190 people for a banquet or 250 people for a cocktail event.
In addition to its rooftop venues, the CTICC complex has a variety of flexible spaces each incorporating world-class features and tech.
