ICCA invites associations to join its community | The Planner

The International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) recently launched the ICCA Association Community, to help foster relationships between associations and its members in order to advance international association meetings on a global scale.

James Rees, ICCA President, says, “ICCA is the global community and knowledge hub for the international association meetings industry. Its members are dedicated to providing world-leading services to this industry, engaging with association executives to exchange knowledge and share best practice. The launch of the ICCA Association Community will integrate associations with our membership, helping to shape ICCA’s future and provide opportunities for ever-closer collaboration.”

ICCA has been engaging with associations in this manner for many years already. However the process was informal, whereas the new community forum will formalise these relationships and put in place the processes that can help to nurture and develop them.

“The launch of the ICCA Association Community will integrate associations with our membership, helping to shape ICCA’s future and provide opportunities for ever-closer collaboration.”
