The 4th annual iZZi Lifestyle Group Cape Town Golf Championship returns to the Mother City from 17-21 August 2020, attracting amateur golfers and club professionals from Africa and beyond.
Players will experience some of Cape Town’s finest greens and views, as they travel to a different location each day of the championship. Starting at the gorgeous Steenberg Golf Club situated in the Constantia Wine Valley, they will move to King David Mowbray Golf Cub in Mowbray for Day 2, followed by Pearl Valley Golf Estate in Paarl on Day 3, and ending at the oldest Club in South Africa on Day 4 – the prestigious Royal Cape Golf Club.
As an added treat, wines from the region will be available for sampling at each golf course, including Steenberg wines, Creation Wines situated in the Hemel & Aarde Valley near Hermanus, De Grendel wines and Stellenbosch Vineyards.
The event will culminate with a prize-giving banquet on the Friday night, with prizes to the value of R250 000 to be won.

The event was founded by Reg Ferreira, Business Development Director at iZZi Hotels, in partnership with the City of Cape Town and Fedhasa. With the assistance from local golf clubs, members, and various sponsors, the tournament has become a successful drawcard for golfers from Africa and beyond, stimulating tourism in what is a traditionally low demand period. This year, travel restrictions will prevent players from outside the province from entering, giving locals a better shot at winning the fabulous prizes up for grabs.
