The Southern African Association for the Conference Industry (SAACI) in association with the South African Events Council and the Events Safety Council has announced a revised date for the proposed ‘Proof of Concept’ hybrid event, which is: Wednesday, 22 July 2020.
The purpose of the event is to discuss and demonstrate the COVID-19 Event Safety Council Re-opening Guidelines. (You can download the guidelines here.)
It is being planned as a hybrid event that will run simultaneously around the country. The change in date was necessary to ensure that all major metro disaster management teams are in a position to participate.
SAACI will release a program shortly, which will include how interested individuals and companies can apply to register for it.
