The World MICE Awards™ celebrates and rewards excellence in the global Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) industry. Today it announced the winners of its 2020 programme, which saw the Durban International Convention Centre (Durban ICC) taking top honours in two categories: Africa’s Best Convention Centre 2020 and South Africa’s Best Convention Centre 2020.
The annual awards is the sister event of World Travel Awards™, and was developed in response to the need for a fair and transparent programme that would help to benchmark the standard of excellence for the MICE sector. It is also intended to “help to foster a new era of growth, innovations and best practice on a global scale”.

Winners are identified through the votes of leading MICE industry professionals from around the world, and MICE consumers from more than 100 countries.
