SAACI has announced that two new members will be joining its Johannesburg branch committee, welcoming both Mary Mahlangu and Neil Nagooroo to the committee.
Mary is a senior project and sales accounts manager at Flock Eventing Platform. Having worked in the events industry for more than 11 years, she has overseen the production of a number of events, ranging from bespoke experiences to the most high-level conferences on both local and international stages. Some of Maryβs most notable projects include the 2016 SAMAs, the South African Premier Business Awards, E! Entertainmentβs 15th birthday party, the Pearl Thusi x M.A.C. cosmetics launch, the IEC elections 2019 and the AfricaGIS conference Rwanda.
Meanwhile, industry stalwart Neil is the managing director and owner of consulting company, Nxlevel Consulting. He comes with close on 25 yearsβ experience in the tourism and conferencing industries across sales and marketing, in addition to expertise in administration, logistics and supply chain management. Neil was previously the GM for exhibitions and strategic events at South African Tourism and has acted as project manager on key events intended to increase business development. He has been pivotal in the success of local and international exhibitions and campaigns including Africaβs Travel INDABA, Meetings Africa, WTM London and IMEX America, among others.
