South African Tourism announces new CEO | The Planner

After an extensive recruitment process, the Board of South African Tourism is pleased to announce that Nombulelo Guliwe CA (SA) has accepted the position of CEO of South African Tourism under a five-year contract.

At 37 years old, Ms. Guliwe is a certified Chartered Accountant and a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants. Notably, she made history as the first black female and youngest Chief Financial Officer at SA Tourism in 2019.

Currently serving as Acting CEO and Interim Chief Financial Officer, Ms. Guliwe brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having held various leadership positions throughout her career, including Chief Financial Officer at SA Tourism since August 2019. Prior to this, she dedicated eight years to SA Tourism.
