Kathleen Hedges has been named GM of the Hampton by Hilton Sandton Grayston as the brand makes its foray into the African continent. Scheduled to open in December, with reservations available from January 1, 2025, the 158-room hotel has been highly anticipated.
With 17 years of hospitality experience, Kathleen has worked in various frontline and senior leadership roles. She will lead the introduction of Hampton by Hilton’s signature ‘Hamptonality’ experience in Africa. Expressing her excitement to take on her responsibilities as GM of Hampton by Hilton Sandton Grayston, Kathleen commented: “Hampton by Hilton Sandton Grayston will play a key role in supporting local tourism and attracting both domestic and international travellers. My focus will be to showcase the brand’s unique identity through thoughtful stays while staying true to the country’s authentic culture and traditions.”
