As a testament to Gallagher the premier convention & exhibition centre in southern Africa and the CEO Adolf Venters ongoing commitment to ensuring the personnel are constantly at the cutting edge, it was announced by Prometric the testing adjudicators for several exam programmes that Nicole Grobbelaar Assistant Manager Co-ordination had achieved CMP status.
Nicole was seated during the July exam window period and found the experience a valuable and worthwhile undertaking. The July exam was the first computer-based exam and it proved a learning curve for all the parties concerned. It is hoped with the November exam looming that registered candidates will be able to obtain their results more swiftly than to date commented a MICE Academy spokesperson.
Having benchmarked one event management status from every conceivable aspect – the MICE Academy are best placed with knowledge and experience to recognize all status achievers within the broad definition of events management. As at September 2012 Gallagher can boast 4 management personnel who have achieved their CMP status the first time around through the MICE Academy.
