The Wedding Expo has a tradition of acknowledging the outstanding efforts of the exhibitors by awarding Best Stand or Stand Excellence certificates to those exhibitors who go the extra mile to produce excellent stands.
This year in Cape Town was no different and the following companies received the best stand accolade:
ZEST Music, Du Plessis and Curran, Boschendal, Rickety Bridge, Sarah Isaacs Photography, Zonnevanger, Mr & Mrs M, JC Events and Infinity Dress.
In addition to the look of the stand, the judges look for the impact and originality of the stand, the quality and finish of the implementation, accessibility to the stand, the presentation of their brand and the message that the visitor will receive and lastly, the neatness and appearance of both the stand and the staff on the stand.
The Wedding Expo has four shows per year as follows:
Durban at the Durban Exhibition Centre: 5 and 6 August 2017
Johannesburg at the Ticketpro Dome : 26 and 27 August 2017

About The Wedding Expo
The Wedding Expo was founded in 2002 with the first Expo held at the Sandton Convention Centre. A second show was introduced in 2005 when the exhibition moved to The Dome in Northgate where it has been held twice a year since then.
With the success of The Wedding Expo in Johannesburg and requests from the wedding industry in Cape Town and Durban, The Wedding Expo launched two additional shows, one in each of those cities, in 2015.
The Wedding Expo remains the largest expo for the wedding industry in spite of a proliferation of small fairs and open days around the country. This is due largely to the professional and award winning exhibition and marketing company which produce The Wedding Expo.
The Wedding Expo is a founding member of the Association of African Exhibition Organisers (AAXO). AAXO is a non-profit organisation representing exhibition organisers throughout Africa, positioned to address the growing need for a focused entity to meet the needs of the industry.

EXSA Exhibition of the Year in the consumer category in 2004 and 2005
PMR.Africa Diamond Arrow award for the achieving the highest scores in its category in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
Distinction in Greening Finalist in the AAXO ROAR Awards 2016
